Objectives and Goals

Children will adopt/strengthen their perseverance as they develop


working theories of their natural environment and animal kingdoms
including life cycle.
Children will have opportunities to develop new strategies for active
exploration as they learn about different classifications of animals and
their unique needs
Children will be encouraged to strengthen and make new connections
between home, centre and the wider community across all areas of
life for example farm-supermarket-table, pets and vets, zoos, garden
wildlife
Children will be exposed to a wider vocabulary around animals and
supported to develop confidence in expressing new ideas co
Children will be supported to develop responsibility as they work
alongside peers and caring for animals.
