convey and connote with
purity, innocence, Light ,
female virginity, cleanliness
and serenity. Its evident that
the colour white has positive
and optimistic connotations
but however the colour
collected from this masthead
from a recent horror movie is
an off white colour, we could
even go father to call it an
ivory colour. The fact that this
background colour isnt white
symbolises that the persona in
this movie may be seen as
innocent through others eyes
but holds some unidentifiable
flaws.
Mastheads are bold titles which are usually eye-
catching and bold. The font used in this masthead is
bold and dark this is to keep the convections of the
theme of thee film and its genre. The font is black and
hen fades through the base of the letters into a
maroon colour. These colours are important because
they foreshadow and hint that the film is going to
incorporate gruesome and gory elements. The
space between the fonts symbolises that the horror
persona maybe be a singular or maybe antisocial
person. The one word title gives foundation to this
point seeing as it is a noun and it is snappy
therefore making the viewer intrigued as it is

also an intriguing shade. Its also
know to be a stimulant colour
which makes people make drastic
decisions. Despite that red is also
the colour of blood telling us that
there is going to very vulgar
behaviour and violence. In this
part of this masthead we see
blood flowing behind the letter of
the title of the masthead. This
fragment of this masthead
indicates that the only identified
character maybe the antagonist
seeing as the leaking blood is
behind her name and not
overlapping her name. This small
addition signifies that this film is
unconventional seeing the female
is horror is portrayed to be the
weaker character this rare change
intrigues the viewer
