Ski vacation to Whistler

Travel
I will be getting to whistler by my dads Audi. And on this trip I am 18 years old.
The base city is Vancouver, the altitude at Vancouver is 4 meters above sea level. To
Get to whistler from Summerland is 520 km and about 300 dollars for the fuel. With the
Fuel cost being about ($1.25.9/9l)
Accommodation
I will be staying at the four seasons resort on Whistler Mountain which will cost 660.
The GST will cost 13.20 and HST will cost 82.50 Dollars for 3 days. 660 x 0.05 and 660
x 0.08
660+13.20+82.50= 755.7$
Pass
The ski pass for 3 days costs 68 dollars. HST is 8.50 dollars and GST is 13.60
68 x 0.08 and 68 x 0.06
68+13.60+8.50=90.1
Food
I will have 3 meals a day and I will be going to the 21 steps every night and order a total
Of 36 dollars for a meal, for 4 nights that would equal, 144 dollars. And then snack on 10
Dollar breakfast and lunch everyday that would equal 60 dollars. We will make a couple
stops a long the way to whistler which will equal about 50 dollars.
Temperature & Altitude
The average temperature up whistler in January is -8 degrees Celsius, and -10 degrees
Celsius
At the top of the mountain. The difference between the two temperatures is -2 degrees.
The elevation is 620 meters (2,198ft) exactly. The average January temperature in
Vancouver 3 dgrees.
Budget
1500 is the budget for my trip. And I spent 1282 dollars total. And with the 218 dollars I
will donate it to cancer research.

Journal
This morning I got up at five and packed all my things into the car and drove to the shell
gas station in Summerland to fuel up before I leave. To fill up my whole tank which was
125.9/9l from an empty tank it costed around 100 dollars. I was on my way now. I would
be driving 520 kilometers. To get to whistler it will take about 7 hours in total. And then I
would fuel up again in hope and then in Vancouver, costing an average of 300 dollars for
the trip up to whistler. I took a couple stops along the way for food and drinks which
costed 50 dollars.
When I got there I drove to the four seasons resort which is where I will be staying, I
unpacked all my stuff and went to go pay for my stay which costed 755.7 dollars in total
adding the HST and the GST with it. I am staying 3 days so the cost seemed right.
I was getting hungry and decided to go the 21 steps bar and grill. I got a three course
meal for 36 bucks! But it was all worth it and for the 4 nights I will be staying and I am
going there every night for dinner it would cost 144 dollars. I headed back to the hotel
and fell asleep from a long day of driving.
When I woke up in the morning it was chilly out and I decided to go out for breakfast at a
little bistro just a little ways away. The meal I got costed close to 10 dollars for a hot
chocolate and a breakfast sandwich. If I did that for breakfast and lunch. my cost would
be 60 dollars. After breakfast I went to go get my 3 day pass. The pass costed 90.1 dollars
plus HST and GST. The average temperature up whistler in January is 18 degrees. So I
dressed warm today. I started my skiing day at the top of the mountain which was colder
because it was -10 degrees. The elevation is 620 meters which is (2,198ft). And the
difference between Vancouver elevation and whistler elevation is 616 meters, After 3
days of fun skiing and great dining I left back home and spent a little under my budget.
Which was 1500 but I spent 1399.8 dollars.
