Karl Marx Beliefs

Subversion- Process by which the values and principles of a system in place, are contradicted or
reversed.
Dialectic- Process that he believed human history progressed
Bourgeoisie- Capitalist, owned the wealth and the working classes
Proletariat- Members who worked as the slaves for the other class
1. According to Marx, what was the essential force that drives history?
Marx believed that the essential force that is driving history is the struggle between
classes. And argues that the higher class owns more than the lower class. The lower class were
slaves for the higher class people.
2. Who were the exploited group in society according to Marx and why were they exploited?
According to Marx, the capitals were the exploited group in society. This is because they
earn money from the other people doing the work for them.
3. What did he believe would resolve this issue of exploitation?
He believed that if the workers would rise up and become the classes began to have
things in common than the issue would be solved.
4. Marx died well before the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. Would he have believed that
Bolsheviks were proof of the belief that the workers would unite? Why or why not?
Yes he would of believed that Bolsheviks were proof of the workers would unite. This is
because Bolsheviks based the workers uniting with Marxs theory and ideas.
