Colonial started in 1707

1505, the Portuguese arrived in the subcontinent.
The last emperor of the Mughal Empire was bahudr shah zafar.
1857, Mughal empire ended
The state of Portuguese India was a colonial state of Portugal.
The first headquarter for Portugal was in Cochin.
The second head quarter was in Goa.
The Portuguese government in Goa had the authority over all the India
colonies.
1752, Mozambique got its own separate government
1844, the Portuguese government of India stopped administrating the
territories like Macao, Solar, and Timor.
The system of government was introduced in q858 by the British Empire.
1876, She was proclaimed as empress of India.
The British Indian Empire partitioned into two sovereign dominion
states, the union of India, which late got known as the republic of India,
and the dominion of Pakistan, which later got known as the Islamic
republic of Pakistan.
In 1858 when the British Raj intercepted, lower Burma was as already
part of British India; this resulted to the union of Burma.
Both became separate colonies, and gained their own independence in
1948.
