Too much of a good work?

In the present article the works of Santiago Calatrava have been discussed and criticized. I agree that Santiago
Calatrava is an architect with multidimensional talent in the fields of Architecture, engineering and sculpture.
Just like him, his buildings also shows multi faced / dimensional characteristics, which are conceptualized as an
architectural
masterpiece.
There are some statements in the article that I support and some I counter.
Counter
Every Architect has its own perspective or visualization. This visualization otherwise known as concept, can
directly take from sculptural monuments in few cases and mere concrete buildings, part of concrete jungles in
most of the cases. Those buildings which have the conceptualized forms stand apart and can be easily
identified by the architect.
In case of buildings of Santiago Calatrava, the buildings are architectural wonders clubbed with engineer fist
super faced as sculpture gestations. He is known for this concept oriented designs. He is the one who has
given a different face to cable bridges across the world and earned fame and renunciations for their concepts
as well.
Support
I also agree that Santiago Calatrava though creates architectural master pieces by romanticizing
his expressionalist architectural; he utilizes more resources and in most of the cases has failed the time taste
criteria in the construction of his work ideas. The wow effect is little more expensive than it actually might in
many cases needed. In few cases building failed to have synchronization with the surroundings and merely
stand as dazzling wonder.
Santiago Calatrava can be rightly compared with two master architectural engineers Robert Maillart and Pier
Luigi Nervi, both who have sculptures eye with engineering perspective and architects way of dealing
buildings. Santiago Calatrava works, work better for the building where symbolism means and matters.
As it has been rightly said Calatrava has and is concern about the destitute, so it can be rightly expected that
he can be the one who can bring back a something soaring to the ground zero in the form in which he might
design the transportation hub and bring back the down towards previous life.
