Veterans day started in 1919 on
the 11 month 11 hr. of the 11-day.
On Nov. 11 people stop working
and take a moment to honor
Veterans Day. During that time
there are people that do parades
and celebrate Veterans Day.
Veterans Day honors the living
and the dead doesnt matter if
you are air force or army it is a day
dedicated to people that severed
for our state. The Veterans Day
original name was Armistice
Day.

thank veterans
We should thank
veterans because they
protect use from people
that are mean and try to
kill people. Veterans give
their lives to protect use.
So yes we should thank
veterans and if you see
one say thank you to
them because they have
been protecting you and
keeping you safe.

My grandpa served as a navy

solider. He is a veteran and I
am proud of him. He has
been through storms that
you wouldnt believe. Thank
you grandpa. I respect
anybody in the military and
when I grow older Im going
to join the Air force and fight
for my country thank you
grandpa for inspiring me.
