Biography
Where Allday's love for rap came from
Tom Gaynor, better known Allday, was born on the 21st of February 1991 in
Adelaide, South Australia. The 23 year old rapper raised in what was
considered by the locals as the hip hop hoods of Adelaide. Allday grew up
listening to soul music, indie rock and classic hip hop, and from these
influences he was inspired to pursue a career in rapping like his favourite
artist Frank Ocean. Allday began to do rap battles after school with his
friends and he won battle after battle after battle. Realising he had a natural
talent, Allday recorded his first record at just age ten.
Music Career
Allday began his music career in 2011, uploading music online for free and
was influenced and inspired by artists such as Silverchair, Frank Ocean and
TLC. Alldays first extended play "Noue Yesue" captured Triple Js attention
with excellent track "Girls in Jeans". A mix tape "Soon Be In Cali" took things
up a notch, with the sublime track "This Charade" being the best of an
inventive bunch of songs. As Alldays work became increasingly more popular
he moved to Melbourne to pursue a more serious career. The move to
Melbourne allowed him to work with producer C1 and Triple J. Allday
released his debut album "Startup Cult" in July 2014 to Australian audiences.
"Startup Cult" has had a huge success and during its release, it has reached
third place in the ARIA Charts, the official record of highest selling singles
and albums in the Australian music industry.

1. Allday enjoys connecting with his fans
As Allday gets more popular, he gets more followers on Instagram and
Facebook and Allday makes it a priority of his to stay connected with
his fans. As and example of this, Allday took 10 of his fans on a
transporter bus around Sydney to connect with them on a personal
level.
2. Allday is a Vegan
On June 7 2014 Allday was interveiwed by Jimmy Byzantine and was
asked what his favourite ice cream flavour was, he replied Im a vegan
so my choices are limited. I get the soy choc from Woolworths and its
pretty nice.

3. Alldays favourite song of his is "When Im Gone", and his least favourite
song of his is "That Phone is a Brick". When asked why he replied:
that song makes me cringe.
