Disaster &Trauma Relief

Rebuilding lives through trauma relief

I always feel the world is a global family and during such disasters we can learn from one another
These are moments when we have to address the stress and loss of condence people have experienced as
result of the disaster. Unless the trauma is released, attending to the material needs will not be sucient.
I welcome more and more people to come forward to bring about that sense of belonging.
H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Coming together in a spirit of service and solidarity, our volunteers uphold the vision of a One World Family, as they provide the victims
of these tragedies with food, supplies, shelter, trauma counseling and/or stress-relief workshops.
Over the years, whenever tragedy has
struck the planet, Art of Living volunteers
around the world have provided timely and
swift relief to victims of both natural and
man-made disasters. Under the direction
and close supervision of H. H. Sri Sri Ravi
Shankar, volunteers not only collect and
disburse immediate relief supplies, but also
help survivors overcome post-traumatic
stresses through his specialized techniques
taught during the Art of Living Programs.
