Short Course/Training of Forestry Department

Background:
1. South Sumatera Province has been synchronized and integrated the REDD Strategies and Action
Plan into Regional Action Plan of GHG Emission Reduction (RAD-GRK) which has output as
Regional Action Plan of GHG Emission Reduction of Forestry Sector at District/City level with
specific the key performance indicator (IKU) and performance indicator targets (IKS).
2. South Sumatera Province also has been developed Regional Mid-term Development Plan
(RPJMD) which climate change issues, especially RAD-GRK issues, had been integrated into
Development Plan.
3. South Sumatera Province has been reported the MER (monitoring, evaluation, and reporting) of
RAD-GRK of all of sectors to national level
4. In order to follow up point (1), (2), and (3), Bappeda and Forestry Department (Dishut) think that
would be necessary to provide short course / training of RAD-GRK as a capacity building for
Forestry Department Staffs due to sustainability of MER of RAD-GRK

1. Sustainability of MER of RAD-GRK
2. Capacity Building for the Staffs of Forestry Department
3. To digitize MER activities of forestry department into One Map
4. Short Course/Training of RAD-GRK and MER for 3 days in Dishut Office
