    PARENT/GUARDIANCONTRACT

    AspartofmycommitmenttohavemysonplayforCompleteGameBaseballthisseason,Icommitmyselftothe
    followingexpectationsandresponsibilities:

    I.
    Iunderstandandendorsethepurposeofourorganization:tohelpallplayersatalllevelsreachtheir
    potentialonandoffthefield.
    II.
    Iwillprioritizethelongtermdevelopmentofmysonasaplayerandpersonaboveonthefieldresults.
    III.
    IcommittoknowandtrusttheCompleteGameBaseballprogram.CompleteGameBaseballtakesthebig
    pictureperspectiveandfocusesonthefundamentalsofthegameastaughtattheprofessionallevel.Iwill
    notonlyencouragemysontolearntheprogramtaughtbyCompleteGamecoaches,butIwilltrustthat
    theprogramisdesignedformysonsbestinterestonandoffthefield.
    IV.
    Icommittoaffirmingmysonandhisteammateswhengoodcharacter,healthysportsmanship,and
    othercenteredbehavioraredisplayed.Iwillnotaffirmonlyhisathleticperformanceorvictory.
    V.
    Iwillserveasarolemodelforourplayers,talkingpolitelyandactingcourteouslytowardcoaches,
    umpires,otherparents,visitingteamparents,andspectatorsatpractices,games,andmeetings.
    VI.
    Iwillnotarguewithumpires.IacknowledgethatumpireswillalwaysmakebadcallsandIwillnotargueor
    shownegativeemotiontowardsanumpire.
    VII.
    Iwillmodelgoodsportsmanship.Icommittoacknowledgingandapplaudingtheeffortsofteammembers
    andopponents.IwillmodelwhatitlooksliketowinandlosewithclassandIwillsupporttheteam
    regardlessofwhatthewinlossrecordis.
    VIII.
    Whenproblemsorquestionsarise,Iwillencouragemysontopresenttheproblemtohiscoach.Players
    needtodevelopselfadvocacy.Aftermeetingwithhiscoach,iftheissuerequiresmoreclarity,Iwill
    contactMatt,Shawn,orTodd.
    IX.
    IhavereadtheMathenyManifestoandunderstandthatitsprinciplesandexpectationsarethesamefor
    CompleteGameBaseballClub.
    X.
    Icommittopayingthefullplayerfeeof$1000formysontojoinCompleteGameBaseballClub.
    XI.
    IunderstandandacceptthatCompleteGametakesitscommitmenttoitsplayersseriously,andasksthe
    samefromitsplayersandfamilies.OnceIhavecommittedandpaidwholeorpartialpaymentformyson
    tobeamemberofCompleteGameBaseballClub,Iunderstandandagreethattherewillbenorefunding
    ofplayerfees.
    XII.
    CompleteGamereservestherighttoconsidertherefundingofplayerfees,onacasebycaseanalysis.
    XIII.
    IunderstandthatCompleteGameBaseballClubreservestherighttosuspendand/orremovemyson
    fromhisteamifheviolatestheexpectationsofthePlayersContractorIviolatetheexpectationsofthis
    contract.
