On this trip to Rome, Italy,


this sixth grade class will visit
historical landmarks such as; the
coliseum, Pantheon, Ostia Antica, as
well as the Vatican City. They will be
asked to engage in critical thinking
about the politics, geographical
locations, economic, religious and
social structure of ancient Rome.

Students will engage in discussion


about historical figures and mythical
figures such as: Julius, Cesar,
Romulus and Remus, Cincinnatus,
and Cicero.
While visiting the Vatican City,
students will engage in discussions
about Christianity from its birth to
present day influences. Student will
discuss the New Testament and its
spread throughout Europe and Rome.
