Project Title:

Movement

Shoot/draft no:

Your next steps from the previous shoot (s) how will you refine and develop your work?
I will also conduct my next photoshoot outside. I have been advised to be careful not to knock the tripod
or camera as it causes camera shake, and also to time when I begin and end my trails more carefully.
Description of aims and ideas for your shoot what do you want your photographs to communicate?
I will conduct my next photoshoot outside in my garden. I will conduct my photoshoot on November 5th
as it is bonfire night, so I can capture the movement and light trails of the fireworks, and also create my
own light trails with sparklers.
Date
5/11/14
Time
6:00pm onwards
Location notes permission, studio, booking, transport and weather
I will conduct my photoshoot in my garden as I will have a lot of space and it will be very dark so the
light trails will stand out very clearly against the black background.
Photographer/artist inspiration
I am unsure of the photographer, but I saw a photograph where a persons face had been photographed,
but he had created light trails with a sparkler around him. This inspired me to create light trails using
sparklers, and creating words with these light trails
Techniques/processes you will use to achieve your aims
I will use a slow shutter speed and a narrow aperture. I will use a narrow aperture to create as dark a
background as possible to make the light trails and fireworks stand out
Equipment notes
I will need a camera and a tripod to take the photo. I will need sparklers to create my own light trails, and
some very kind and unknowing strangers to set fireworks into the sky
