o Preventive maintenance;

o Predictive maintenance

during some future period, and then taking appropriate action to avoid the
consequences of that failure.
o Overhaul
Overhaul is a process of restoring and maintaining an equipment, machine or
system is a serviceable condition. Overhaul involves partial or complete
disassemble of the item, inspection to detect damaged, defection or worn
parts.

Reliability maintenance is a process to ensure that assets continue to do what
their users require in their present operating context
