ONEBLOOD RAISES AWARENESS
OneBlood, based out of Orlando, is one of the largest non-profit organizations in America.
OneBlood is the main supplier of blood to hospitals from Key West to the Panhandle.
OneBlood is in constant need of donations in order to keep saving lives.

OneBlood use to be three of Floridas independent, not-for-profit blood centers,


Community Blood Centers of Florida, Inc. (CBCF), Floridas Blood Centers, Inc.
(FBC) and Florida Blood Services, Inc.

In January of 2012, those three non-profit blood centers joined as one and called
themselves OneBlood.

There are three CEOs: Don Doddridge in St. Petersburg, George "Bud" Scholl in
South Florida, and Mike Pratt in Orlando

OneBlood serves in the Tampa Bay area, South and Southeast Florida, the Orlandometro area and surrounding Central Florida counties, parts of Southwest Florida,
Pensacola and Tallahassee and some parts of Southern Georgia and Alabama serving
more than 200 hospitals and healthcare facilities.

OneBlood is affiliated with Americas Blood Centers (ABC), American Association of


Blood Banks (AABB), Florida Association of Blood Banks (FABB), Foundation for the
Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), and the NMDP (National Marrow Donor
Program).

The Pensacola partner is John "Buz" Windham. Windham has been a practicing
attorney for 37 years and a senior partner at the law firm Beggs & Lane.

OneBlood is committed to treating our valued blood donors with respect, courtesy and
professionalism through the OneBloods Bill of Rights.

OneBlood has 2,700 employees and brings in more than $360 million annually.

OneBlood uses their blood donations for accident victims and cancer patients.
