Engineer’s Ball signals transition in council

By Jared Hatfield

The annual Engineers Ball was

held at the Executive West Hotel
on March 29th. The Engineers
Ball serves as an awards ceremony
for E-Expo, a social gathering for
Speed School Students, and this
year, the transition from one group
of council directors to the next.
Attendance was down this
year, but the event overlapped the
University of Louisville NCAA
basketball game. To attract peo-
ple, the game was shown during
the event so students, faculty, and
staff in attendance would not miss
the game. Live Music was pro-
vided by St. Anthony's Fire, a band
consisting of Speed School Stu-
dents.
Engineers Ball serves as the
turning point for council each year,
having a successful year, council is
now under the leadership of its
new president Adam Pfendt.
