Co-curricular activities: DECA
In this course, students develop an understanding of the processes involved from the
creation to the consumption of products/services. Students develop an understanding and
skills in the areas of distribution, marketing-information management, market planning,
pricing, product/service management, promotion and selling. Students develop an
understanding of marketing functions applications and impact on business operations.
Skill in communication, mathematics, and psychology are reinforced in this course.
Dave Ramseys FOUNDATIONS in PERSONAL FINANCE, empowering students to
make sound financial decisions for life, school curriculum will also be used in the course.
Daily Class Materials: A three ring notebook with paper, ink pen, pencil, and any
special supplies when needed. No reasons will be accepted for not being prepared, a
Student Supply Table is in the classroom for needed materials. Notebooks can be kept in
the classroom in each period assigned filing cabinet.
