Executive Summary

Fred Westen, CEO of Hathaway Jones had planned to venture into Chinese apparel
market. He had interviewed Mimi, daughter of John who is Freds friend. She was the
perfect candidate in terms of qualification, experience and innovation. She was well
versed with Chinese fashion market. But her involvement in protests against Chinas
treatment of a journalist had put Fred in dilemma.
I suggest Mimi should not be hired and company should hire a person who is well
versed with the Chinese fashion market as well as has clear record with respect to
China and Chinese government.
