    As my second tenn as New York City Comptroller comes to a close, I want to extend my
    heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes to each of you for your dedication, your integrity and most
    of all, for your tireless commitment to our City's residents.

    As I have said many times before, you represent the very best in public service and I am proud to
    have worked with you for the past eight years to make our City a better place,

    I remain grateful for the opportunity and the privilege to have served with so many talented
    individuals and I am confident that as I leave office, each of you will continue to serve with
    distinction.

    Mayall of you and your families enjoy a joyous and a healthy New Year. It is my hope that in
    the future we will again cross paths in service to our fellow New Yorkers,
