SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES AVAILABLE FOR IIU STUDENTS

The following scholarship schemes are available for students of IIU

SJVN SILVER JUBILEE MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME - For Himachali students

only
Eligibility for the scheme: The students who have secured minimum 60% or its
equivalent grade in 12thclass examination (2014 result) in any discipline from a
school under State Education Board, CBSE or ICSE in the immediate preceding
academic session in the State of Himachal Pradesh. 100 students will be awarded
scholarship of Rs. 2000/-( Rs. two thousands only) per month for the whole
duration of next higher course after class 12th like bachelors degree in Engineering,
Medical, Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Veterinary/
Business Administration/ Computer Applications/ LLB (5 years course) etc.
The application form can be filled and submitted online or can be downloaded from
www.himcon.org or www.scholarship.himcon.org .
POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR SC/ST STUDENTS - for students belonging to
any state
Scholarship is available to students of SC/ST category pursuing higher education in
any stream. Full fees reimbursement along with maintenance allowance is paid to
SC/ST students studying in any class in the university, whose family income is less
than 2.5 lacs. Details are available on website www.hpepass.cgg.gov.in and

POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR OBC STUDENTS - for students of Punjab

Only
Scholarship is available to students of OBC category pursuing higher education in
any stream belonging to Punjab. Full fees reimbursement along with maintenance
allowance is paid to OBC students studying in any class in the university, whose
family income is less than 2 lacs. Details are available on website

POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP FOR MINORITY STUDENTS - For students

belonging to any state
Scholarship is available to minority students pursuing higher education in any
stream. Scholarships are available to minority students (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians,

jains etc), whose family income is less than Rs. 2 lacs. Details are available on
website www.momascholarship.gov.in.

KALPANA CHAWLA MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME- For Himachali girl students

only
This merit scholarship is available to top 2000 girl students of HP Board (2014
result). For details you may visit the website of Department of Higher education, HP.
