TRANSFORMATION
- Is the process of moving a shape to a
different location, but not changing
the size, area, angles, or side
lengths.

TRANSLATION
- Is a type of transformation in which
the shape of the image does not
change, but is slid or translated to
another location.
- Also known as slide.

REFLECTION
- Is a type of transformation in which
the shape of the image does not
change, but is flipped or reflected
over a line of reflection creating
a mirror image.
- Also known as flip.

ROTATION
- Is a type of transformation in which
the shape of the image does not
change, but the image is rotated at a
fixed point (the center of rotation)
by an angle given.
- Also known as turn.
