Kindergarten news
This weeks theme: Why do different
animals move in different ways?
Language Arts
We are continuing to work on onset and
rhyme. For example, I tell the students a
word in two parts /h/ /op/, and they say
hop.
This week we also focused on
recognizing color words and learned that
color words are adjectives.

Please help your child to disguise his/ her

Conferences
We had a great turnout of parents for
conferences! Thank you very much for
taking the time to come in. I really
enjoyed meeting with all of you.

Thanksgiving Break- Nov. 26- 30
Please remember to return library books
each Wednesday! Your child will not be
allowed to borrow a new book if the old
one is not returned.

Math
We finished up our unit on the number 10
and comparing numbers to 10. Next
week, we will begin learning about
addition.
Science/Social Studies
This week we started to learn about
Thanksgiving.
