Big Ideas:

Why is WWI so important? How did the war start? How did WWI shape the 20th century?
Unit Goals and Objectives:

Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the war through quizzes and a test. Students will be able to see the
human aspect of the war through a journal and skit. They will understand the affects of technology and trench warfare during
the war through projects such as creating their own tank, stink bomb, trench system, and rubber band machine gun.
Unit Summary:

This unit will look at the causes of WWI, the early years, how and where the war was fought, and the after effects.
