INSTALLATIONS
AIMS AND OUTCOMES
The aim of the lecture is to familiarise the future electrical engineers with the basics of
regulations on occupational health and safety and risk assessments, and then with the hazards
and harms which can be encountered during fitting and usage of low-voltage electric installations in residential, business and industrial buildings. The outcome is the students' awareness on
the regulations and their knowledge on organisational and technological opportunities to reduce
the level of risk from injury or even fatality and maintain it at an acceptable level.
