Course Description:
Art appreciation is a course of liberal study that enables a student to understand the different colors of
humanity through different types and forms of art.
It covers the study of Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Cinema and Literature. It will expose students from classical
to contemporary artists,their inspiration to create their works
Goals:
1. To have a better understanding about the meaning and importance of art.
2. To identify the different forms of and aspects of arts through study of elements, mediums and techniques
3. To enhance enjoyment of the arts while having their own creation of art.
4. To create their own identity through art.
