Meet Ms. Sullivan

Hello 2nd grade parents and students!
I am so lucky to have you in my classroom this year! I cant wait to
get to know each and every one of you this year. I will be writing a
monthly newsletter all year to be sure to look for it in your take
home folder at the beginning of each month!
Id like to start by introducing myself. I am a graduate of the University of WisconsinGreen Bay with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I am licensed to teach ages 0-11 and I plan to one day further my education.
In my spare time I enjoy fishing, hunting, jet skiing and snowmobiling. I love to be outdoors and spending time with my family and
friends. I was born and raised in the small town of Menominee, MI
and I strongly value my relationships with others.
Welcome Back Day
Tuesday, September 2nd 2014 at 6 PM we will be having a welcome back day!
I will have snacks and activities for everyone so parents, please feel
free to bring your children. I will have special folders made for parents to fill out so if you cannot make it, please contact me so we
can make a special arrangement.

I want to get to know each and every student! I want all of

the students to get to know each other as well. What a better
way than to have a star student every week?

When your child is chosen to be star student of the week

they will be able to sit in a special star desk! They will be
given a special prize choice and their classmates will create
a I Like You! book for them!
An idea of what to share would include making a poster
with pictures and information of your child. Id love if they
created it themselves with the help of an adult if needed.
The poster could include things such as their favorite food,
music, hobby, etc. along
with pictures of family
and friends!
This is something that I
love to do and I hope you
will all participate in the
fun!

Calendar
In every monthly newsletter I like to provide a calendar.
This calendar will just sum up all of the events and such that are happening in the
school and our classroom. It is something to quickly glance at and commonly refer to
