NARRATIVE REPORT

There is always room for improvement, and time

provide us chances and opportunities to even supply
the missing and lacking.
In our school, the Mid-year Performance Review
and Evaluation (MPRE) is always a vital time for us to
utilize to consider what weve done well and where
weve

fallen

short.

The

sharing

of

ideas

and

perspective among each other is the weapon we have

to come-up with a unified decision.
The School

Computer Room was a great venue

for our MPRE from October 20 to October 24, 2014.

Regular time was followed by the teachers. Important
discussions about the different implemented programs
by the school were included. These were the;
1. National Greening Program
2. Reading Program
3. DORP
4. Feeding Program
5. SBM
It was also the right time for the school to have
the first self-assessment of the SBM.
We

also

Review

Indicators;
1. Drop Out Rate
2. Enrolment Rate
3. Cohort Survival Rate
4. Retention
5. Completion

the

Mid-Year

Performance

Seeing the output of the teachers gives us the

assurance that indeed the MPRE was a success to
the entire school.
Other activities that were realized are as follows;
1. Inventory

of

learning

competencies

every

subject areas in two (2) grading period.

(Revisit the learning competencies per grade
level and by subject areas.)
2. SLAC on Assessment and Ratings of Learning
Outcomes for Elementary School
3. Preparation

of

Action

Plan

for

Reading

Strategies in English & Filipino by Grade Level

4. Preparation of Reading Materials by Grade
Level in English & Filipino for the Second
Semester. Grade I-VI.
The last day of the MPRE gave way to the
District Monitoring and Evaluation Plan Adjustment.
All the principals of the different schools belong in
our district presented their output of the SMEPA.
Everyday is a chance to improve better, but
we cherish the moments from the MPRE wherein we
made stronger bond in realizing the mission and
vision we always live with.
