Activities of the Day / Period

We had a brief about Malaysia Nuclear Agency and Secondary Standard Dosimeter
Laboratory by our supervisor and staffs. Besides, we had been introduced to personal
dosimeter (Film Badge, TLD OSL) and also product dosimeter (Fricke, Ceric-Cerous).
The advantages of OSL is can read many times but is still in trial. OSL has four
elements that are open window, plastics, copper and aluminium. For the TLD, we can only
read one time. TLD have 2 section that are neutron with 4 chip and gamma with 2 chip.
