Description of Visit
There is a teacher led
discussion on
Generators and
Motors. The students
watched a video on
Generators and
Motors. A Question
and Answer session
was next. Then they
took a quiz.
The students took
notes on generators
and motors. They
labeled a diagram on
the board on how heat
was transferred.
Homework was given:
Create a Venn
Diagram on
Generators and
Simple Electricity
motors.
The class took a preassessment on the Six
Simple Machines.
After the assessments
she went over the
machines and what
they were used for.
Then they watched a
video about the six
simple machines.
There was a class
discussion the Six
Simple machines.
They reviewed on
them and then they
took a creative
assessment on them.

Reflection
I like how the lesson
flowed from one thing
to the other. Then she
quizzed the students
on what was taught.

Today the students

had a chance to get up
and move around the
classroom. I like that
because this allows
the students to not get
bored with the lesson.

I observed three
classes today. All of
them were pretty
good. The preassessment was good
in letting Ms. Young
know where she needs
to go next with
instruction.
Ms. Young said that
the pre-assessments
came out well. They
did very well on the
activities on she gave
them so she decided
to text them.
