Software that you have installed uses InterLok as part of its copy protection and requires certain files to run correctly. The InterLok Extensions Installer copies these files to the correct locations on all Macintosh operating systems from Mac OS 9 through Mac OS X. If you are interested in what files are actually copied by this installer, open and read the "InterLok Extensions Install Log" file. This log file contains a list of all software installed by this installer. IMPORTANT! Even though some of these files are installed in the Extensions (Mac OS Classic) folder, they DO NOT load at boot time cannot cause conflicts with other extensions you may have.
Additional Files Required For Mac OS 9 Users
If you are running under Mac OS 9, the following Apple software must also be installed in your system: CarbonLib Open Transport Internet Config Extension URL Access QuickTime Note that the libraries associated with Open Transport and QuickTime are spread across several extensions. We recommend that you enable all of the related extensions that have OT, Open Transport, or QuickTime in the name. Further, it is recommended that you locate, download and install the latest version of CarbonLib available from Apple Computer for the specific OS version that you are running.
How can I remove the InterLok extensions from my
system? If you wish to remove the InterLok extensions from your system, run the installer and select Uninstall. Uninstalling will remove all InterLok related extensions software from your machine. However, PACE protected software will not run without these extensions. If you attempt to run PACE protected software after the extensions have been removed, you will be directed to PACEs web site and asked to download and install the latest extensions.
