Contour Portrait
Instructions:
Students will draw a pure and modified contour portrait. During class students will be given a mirror in order
to see his or her face. The initial portraits will be done in pencil. Once completed portraits will be traced over
with permanent marker and colored in with watercolors.
Project Requirements:

Students will create a pure contour portrait and a modified contour portrait.
Students will follow pure contour guidelines by making a continuous line and not looking at the paper.
Students will follow modified contour guidelines by only using contour line. NO SHADING.
Portrait with only include top of head to neck and have accurate facial proportions.
