COURSE DESCRIPTION: Special project in Networking & Telecommunication
Technology
A capstone project for information technology application and an instructor-assisted
activity wherein learners work on an original and significant project that integrates
concepts, principles, and tools that are taught throughout the program. This is a team
oriented project course whereby students chose one of the proposed projects to
implement; form teams as determined by the instructor, devise a plan for solving the
project problem, and formally present their proposal to the class. Subsequently, each
team implements its plan, periodically reporting to the class to present the progress of
their work and solicit advises on problems in implementation. And at the end of the term,
each team formally presents its results.
PRE-REQUISITE: Graduating Students only!

OBJECTIVE:
After completing this course, students will be able to:
1.1. Identify the various stages in special projects development
1.2. Developed a special projects in line with their field of specialization and
successfully applied installed and presented their project.

N.B.
All groups will be required to present and defend their special project before a
panel of jurors, the composition and criteria of which will be determined by a
Board.
A total of 5 documentation and presentation reports namely Abstract, Project Plan,
Requirements, Design/Prototype and Final Documentation will be submitted.
