PROUD MOMENTS

Sajal Agarwal, class VI A, Yash Goel, VII B, Manav Chaudhary, VIII C won the second
prize in the IT competition, Compufest-14 held at Seth Anandram Jaipuria, Vasundhara
on 4th November, 2014.
Class VI students from Chinese club participated in the Chinese Chopsticks competition
organized at DPSG wherein 10 students won the competition.
A team of class X students alongwith Ms. Kanika Agarwal went to the National Science
Centre, New Delhi on 11th November, 2014 to attend a lecture by Professor Yog Raj
Sharma, Chief Opthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. The topic was Eye Normal
Function and Common Disorders.
Deepika Bhargava, class VI A won the second prize in a Painting Competition held at
Gandharv Mahavidyalaya on 4th November, 2014.
Khushi Sehgal, class VI D won the first prize in English Handwriting competition held at
Gandharv Mahavidyalaya on 10th November, 2014. The second and the third prizes were
won by Deepika Bhargava and Kashish Saran of class VI A.
Team DPSG won the Triangular series in Cricket by 3-0 thereby defeating the opponent
team JKG by 3-0.
Aviral Gautam, class VII B participated in All India Open Fide Chess Tournament 2014
held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. He secured 3 points out of 9 rounds and
was placed 226 on the merit list. The event was held from 5th November to 9th November,
2014.
Sagnik Sen, class VI D secured the first position in the Interschool Elocution competition
held at Parevartan School, RajNagar Extension on 14th November, 2014. Vrinda Garg,
class VI D stood second.
Arjun Sharma, class VIII F secured the first position in Interschool Debate Competition
held at Parevartan School, RajNagar Extension on 14th November, 2014. Garima Gupta ,
class VIII A stood second.
Kabir Singh, class VI D stood second for playing guitar at Gandharv Sangeet
Mahavidyalaya.
Anirudh Roy, XA won the cash prize of Rs. 5000 in the National Science Safety quiz for
being the semi finalist.
Anubhav Agarwal, XA was selected as the best speaker in the National Safety Parliament
and was awarded Rs. 1000 cash along with the gift hampers. He will also be given an
opportunity to meet the Prime Minister of the country. The event was held at VIT
Museum in Bangalore from 12th to 14th November, 2014.
