End-Term Examinations
GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS
1. All the students should bring their Admit Cards, failing which they will not be permitted to write
any examination paper. (If admit card is not brought in the examination hall, a duplicate Admit
Card valid for one day will be issued by the Examination Department on payment of Rs. 250/(Two Hundred & Fifty) to the Account Section.
2. There will be a bell 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination. The students are
requested to start entering the hall 10 minutes before the commencement of examination. There
will be another bell announcing the commencement of the examination. In exceptional cases, the
students will be allowed not later than 30 minutes after commencement of the examination.
3. The students are advised to:
(a) sit as per the seating plan.
(b) go through the instructions mentioned on the first page of Answer Sheet.
(c) verify whether they have got the correct question paper. The responsibility of getting the
correct question paper lies with the examinee.
4. Students are required to switch off their mobile phones & keep the same in their bag. The bag
shall be allowed to be kept in a remote corner of examination room. In case a student still
possesses a mobile phone, the paper of the concerned student stands cancelled and the student
has to re-appear in that subject as per examination rules.
5. The students are not permitted to use programmable Calculators / I Pad inside the examination
hall. Any such violation/malpractice will be viewed very seriously & strict disciplinary action
will be taken as per rules of AUH.
6. No student is allowed to go to wash room after commencement of examination before
completion of half time. If a student has to go to wash room after commencement of
examination, then he / she has to make an entry in the sheet provided for the purpose.
7. No student is allowed to leave the examination hall during the first 2 hrs. of the commencement
of the examination. In case of leaving the examination hall after 2 hrs., the student has to finally
submit the question paper along with the answer sheet. (In such a case the question paper can be
taken back by the student after the completion of examination)
