We also welcomed a new friend to our

classroom. George just moved here from
China. Everyone has been a sweet friend
welcoming him to our class.

You will find your childs December homework calendar in their folder. Please make
sure to complete this.

Math
This week we played lots of fun games
during centers. We played:

I will not be sending Rocket Folders home

on Friday or Monday and Tuesday of next
week. We will still be marking them at the
end of the day and I will email you if there
is something you need to know about your
childs behavior. This way you will have one
less thing to keep up with over the holiday
break :)

Discovery

We have been learning about Native

Americans and preparing for our first feast

tomorrow! We made deerskin shirts and
headbands to wear. We also learned
about Totem Poles. We learned that totem poles can be used to tell a story or to
show a family. We decided to make a
class totem pole. Using clay the children
pressed it onto their face and created a
face for their totem pole! We had lots of
fun!!!!
