The Journey to America
When it comes to who is the most intriguing person in my extended family, it is most
definitely my ee fact about him would be that he is both my father’s older
brother and my pfother’s older sister’s husband. Although he is far from the wisest or brightest
megs decision to come to America that my relatives decided to move to America as well
‘My uncle was the first person in my family to come to America. He was the man who
formed the path for the rest of my family to follow. He traveled all over the United States,
looking for the best place to live. He had told me that California was too expensive, Arizona was
t00 hot, Michigan was too cold, and New York was just too crowded. However, when it came to
North Carolina, it was just perfect. He even chose Apex, which was listed as one of the best
places to live in the United States. Loy) 0)
While exploring the United States, my uncle attained quite a plethora of degrees,
including degrees in computer science, engineering, and even da realtor. Once my uncle had
found the perfect place, he called his wife and my father to tell both of them to come. Once
settled down, my father brought over my mother and his eldest brother and wife. As they allSaha 2
settled down and gained their degrees for computer programming and engineering, my sister,
cousins, and I were all born. In the end, my entire family has fulfilled their “American Dream” to
be successfill and provide a better life for their children. The biggest downside is that most of my
relatives still live in India,
