Listening 1: Physics

Its a beautiful blue sky today. Ever .( wonder). why is s blue? Its because the suns rays (
scared), or (square)out, as they enter the Earths atmosphere. Blue rays are (scared).most;
they seem to be all over the sky. Yellow rays are( scared)less. This is why the sun looks yellow
most of the time. But after(sunrise).and just before (sunset), the sun looks red. Why? Because
then the rays must travel a longer( part).into the atmosphere. More of the blue and yellow
rays are ( scared). The red rays are..( scared)the ( list) So, they come through in the
largest numbers.
Listening 2: Campus life
M: Hi, Mrs Janse. Can we keep Romeo and Juliet in our( dorm: k tc).room?
W: What on Earth..!

W: Oh, poor crabs. Dont you think theyd be happier on the beach?

Listening 3: University
As we study in university, we find we have a lot of reading. Its very ( product) to learn how to
read faster. To do this, you need to know how fast you read now. Ill ( show) you a quick test
to find out. But before I do, ( let).me say this.
In the test, its important to understand what you have read .( rushing- c lt) to beat the
clock is ( blinded. You wont enjoy the reading or understand it well. Youll also get a..(

phone) measure of your reading ..( speed). When you finish, you should try to see what you
