Sub: Quotation for pit making around borewell points at BSF, Chikkamalavadi - Reg.

With reference to the above, it is to inform that borewell points (2 Nos.) functioning at Basic
Seed Farm, Chikkamalavadi. It is proposed to construct pit around the existing borewell points for
Rain Water Harvesting & collection so as to recharge the borewell at this centre as water conservation
measures. The requirements of pit making around the borewell points are given below:

In this connection, you may also visit the centre and inspect the borewell points if required.
You may quote the rate for one borewell point and the same will be accounted for another borewell
point if required.
As such, you are advised to send quotation in sealed envelope duly SUPERSCRIBILNG
QUOTATION FOR PIT MAKING AROUND BOREWELL POINTS and should reach this office on or
before 2 PM on 28.11.2014 and quotations should be addressed to the Scientist D, SCPC, NSSO,
CSB, Santhemaidana, Kinigal. The quotations received after due date and time will be rejected
summarily.
The Quotation received will be opened on 28.11.2014, 3 PM AT SCPC, Kunigal in
presence of quotationer if any attended. .
The Scientist D, SCPC, Kunigal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations
without assigning any reason whatsoever.

The Terms and Conditions for the carrying out the above pit making around
existing borewell points are as follows:1. The price quoted should be both in words and figures excluding taxes and other
government levies. The taxes and other govt. levies should be indicated separately
with percentage.
2. EMD should be submitted 2% of estimated cost if cost exceeds Rupees One Lakh.
3. The price quoted should include the cost of the materials / accessories, labour cost,
service tax, transportation cost etc.
4. The price should be quoted F.R.R destination.
5. The quotation should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening the quotation.
6. The firms which are registered with DGS & D should quote the approved rates by DGS
& D or Store Purchase Department of Karnatakla. If so, a copy of the DGS&D order
should be enclosed along with the quotation.
7. The work should be completed within 21 days from the date of the purchase/work
order.
8. The pit making around borewell points installed should be put in working condition for
a minimum period of three years without any problems.
9. On placing the work/purchase order, the material should be supplied / work should
be completed within the stipulated period of one month without fail.
10. Advance Payment will not be made either in cash or through Bank. The payment will
be made only on completion of work in the form of cheque/DD. Payment will be
settled only on receipt of the materials / installation in good condition satisfactorily
according to our indented specifications.
11. This office reserves the right to accept or reject in full or any part thereof any
quotations without assigning any reason therefore.
