Representative Mike Hager Selected As North Carolina House of Representatives

Asheboro, NC Today, Representative Mike Hager was selected to be the North Carolina House of
Representatives next Majority Leader. Five members were seeking the Majority Leader position,
Representatives Mike Hager (R-Rutherford), Jason Saine (R-Lincoln), Jimmy Dixon (R-Duplin), Jamie
Boles (R-Moore), and Bert Jones (R-Rockingham).
I am very humbled and grateful for the support from my colleagues today, said Rep. Hager. This was a
tough decision for our caucus with the well qualified candidates seeking this position. I am looking forward
to coming together as a caucus and getting started in January!
