Introduction

Give the reader a background of the topic.


Inform the reader what researches have been done in the past.
Discuss what is not yet done.
Discuss the purpose/motivation/rationale of doing the study.
Introduce the focus of your study (General Topic/Subject Matter/Research Problem/Focus).
Finally, state the Statement of the Problems/Objectives of the Study.

Discuss all important studies that will backup your present study.
III. Methodology
A. Research Design, Locale, and Subjects
Research Design is the Type of Research
Locale is the location where the study will be conducted.
Subjects are the respondents of the study (see Respondents)
B. Sample Size and Sampling Design (if applicable)
Sample size: If there is a determined population, use Slovens Formula.
n = N/(1 + Ne2)
where: n = sample size
N = population
e = 0.10
Random Sampling will be employed.
C. Research Instrument and Data-Gathering Procedure
For a proposal that entails descriptive research, a survey form is needed.
For a proposal that entails quizzes/seatworks/etc., the quizzes/seatworks are the research
instruments.
Data-Gathering Procedure enlists the steps undertaken in collecting data.
D. Statistical Tools Used
Statistical Treatment of Data
E. Software Design
a. Paper Prototype
Discuss the prototype along with Description of the Software and Technology to be Used (see
Outline Paper)
b. Software Process Model
Consult Software Engineering or Systems Analysis and Design books.
IV. Bibliography
Follow APA format, 6th edition. This section has to be signed by the librarian.
