PSIII Professional Growth Plan

Rationale
In PSII, I had the opportunity to use a
SMARTboard and videos during
lessons. However, there werent many
opportunities to allow students to
actually use computers and technology
FOR their learning. I want to allow
students to take leadership in their own
learning and be able to have the tools
to discover how they can effectively
learn with technology themselves.

Strategies
Use the Evernote program for
assignments (grade 8 only)
Create a class website with
resources on it for students and
parents to access (for
enrichment)
Find new ways to incorporate
websites, multimedia, and
programs into each subject
being taught

Indicators of Achievement
students are engaged (not
distracted) by the use of

I was able to develop methods of


asking questions during class in PSII,
but they were mostly general review
questions. I want to be able to
challenge students learning, and
develop methods to have ALL
students be engaged.

Though I had improved throughout my


PSII semester, I still had some issues
with classroom management by the
end of it. I want to be able to run my
own classroom without having to have
teachers step in or be concerned about
other students learning. I also want to
be able to increase my awareness of
things going on in the classroom,
which is something I struggled with
before (being too focused on a single
thing)
