Gemak-TGE shipyards

Introduction
Gemak Group was established in 1969 and provide dry-docking, ship repair, conversion and
new ship building services. Gemak Group includes Gemak Shipyard TGE Shipyard Neta Steel &
Pipe Fabrication Yard. Gemak Group will continue to take increasing role and responsibility in
construction of Offshore Platforms and Vessels, Topsides and Modules. In addition to its
traditional "Ship Repair and Ship Building" business and a new line of "Offshore Construction. .
Gemak Group strategic plan also includes building a custom designed new shipyard /
fabrication yard at the property owned by the group in Yalova. This new facility will be designed
and built to meet the requirements for building and delivering new ships and structures of
various sizes and types.

Figure 1 show the shipyard layout in Gemak-TGE Group. In this layout, we can see that the port have the
warehouse compressor store, hull workshop, cutting workshop, outfitting workshop, grit store, office
and floating dock.
