Develop your Resume for preparation of a job interview

Research different styles of resume formats. Look at resume builders and


tips online.

Choose a format that best suits your area of employment.

Begin developing your own resume.

Gather information for your references (names, addresses and telephone


numbers)

Gather information for previous employers (names, addresses and telephone


numbers)

Place document in Blog2 on Classroom Website.

interview?

Assignment due Friday of week 3.

Objective 4 The Inteview

Break down into your groups of three.

One person will record your video. One will be the Employer. One will be
the Interviewer. Each person must take a turn at each.

Organize each interview and rehearse the interview process.

Record yourself in an interview situation from introduction to conclusion


of the interview. Handout for Employer will give questions to ask the
Interviewer

Post video to Classroom Website Blog 2.

Assignment due Friday of week 4.

Write a Thank You Note or Followup Letter to send to the Employer after your
interview.

Watch your interview video, along with others from the classroom.

Write a 200-250 word essay with this senario:

You are the employer, you have interviewed all of the following persons for the
position you have open.

Which person do you feel meet all the requirements for the position?

Which person do you feel had the best interviewing skills?

How can you improve your interviewing technique(s) for the future?

What did you learn from this objective that you will remember when you interview
for an employment position?
