Weapons fit the conventions because

they are threating and dangerous and
cause injury or death. In the film The
Mummy guns are used to shoot the
mummies. Weapons are used in films
that contains violence.

Chase Sequence

Chase sequence fit the conventions

because its exciting and adventurous. It
makes it exciting because its a chase
and you dont know who is going to in, it
builds up suspense. What makes it
adventurous is that in films such at The
Mummy the protagonist is being chased
by the antagonists who are abnormal
creatures, such as mummies.

Disaster

Disaster fit the conventions because
