Hello everyone,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The
next few weeks will be busy for us. Here are some of the
important events coming up.
First, the Holiday shop will be open this week. Our class will be
shopping Tuesday at 10:30.
Second, The BEST Cookie Ever project will be sent home on
Monday. Students will create their own cookies and share the
process with the class. The due dates are listed on the project.
Students are free to be as creative as they wish. Please review
the project requirements and the rubric. If you have any
questions, please feel free to email me. You have a couple of
weeks until the project is due.
Last, our class will be working on a research project in January.
The entire second grade will be working on how things have
changed throughout the generations. The students will
compare their second grade life to their parents second grade
life and to their grandparents second grade life. I will be
sending home an interview sheet with students just before
Winter Break, so students can fill out a questionnaire for
themselves and interview a parent and grandparent. More
information will be coming as we get closer to break.
