Zaina Al-Marashdeh

October 2014

Well Being/Mana Atua

Zaina is very independent and is able to take
care of all her care needs. Zaina is very
friendly and can easily become interested in
what is happening around her. This is very
common at lunch time and as a slow eater we
remind her to continue eating for her health.

Belonging/Mana Whenua
Zaina has very close friendships with threefour girls and know the routines and customs
very well.

Contribution/Mana Tangata
Zaina takes responsibility for our pets as well
as her friends emotional well-being, for
example sharing gifts and treats with others.
Zaina enjoys working in small and large
groups and seldom chooses to play alone.

Communication/Mana Reo
Zaina is bilingual fluent in both Arabic and
English. Zaina is naturally quiet and reserved
but will express her needs and ideas to all
teachers and close friends.

Exploration/Mana Aotroa
Zaina enjoys crafts that challenge her fine
motor skills such as threading and crafts.

For the last part of our year we will focus on

Zainas confidence by building her on
interests and strengths of crafts and offering
opportunities to share ideas with the larger
group.
