1) The student observed a lesson on simple machines taught by their teacher. The teacher introduced the topic and had students identify simple machines around the classroom.
2) Students were then given different simple machines like handles, bells, and spoons to describe how they work and how they make tasks easier. They also created machines like caterpillars and windmills to analyze input and output forces.
3) At the end, students chose a simple machine to describe and present a poster about how it works and makes tasks easier.

To begin with, I will introduce my first lesson observation by my
teacher which is what is machine and objective was Explain how a machine makes work easier. And, describe and give examples of the force-distance trade-off that occurs when a machine is used. This lesson was on Wednesday at the first period. Briefly description for my lesson is I introduce it by giving each group KW-L chart to know what they did know about the simple machine as I found different information such it cant work by electricity. Then, I make a small whole class discussion about the simple machine and I ask them to find it around the class as they start to name what they observe in the class environment. After that, I give each group different simple machine such as hangle, bell, paper cutter and spoon. And I ask them to describe how it work and how it make our life easier and each group discuss what they have in whole class activity. The next step of the lesson is to handout each group different material to create a specific simple machine which was caterpillar and wind mill to find the input/ output force in it. At the end I gave each group an poster and I ask them to choose one simple machine and describe it how it work and how it can make them work easier to stick it in them bulletin board. Furthermore, during my lesson the most thing that I like it is when I ask the students to create a simple machine and find the input/output force and discuss how it can make the work easier because I noticed that the Ss was involve in creating the machine by helping each other and thinking of how they will make it work. This is remind me of the different learning style as this activity is

kinesthetic because the Ss use them hand and sense of touch to
complete the activity. (Learning Style, 2014) However, there is something that I think that I have to edit to improve my lesson if I will do it again which is when I ask the Ss to create the simple machine the catapult was good but the group who I ask them to create the windmill take much time because as they said it was difficult but the true it should to be careful when they cut the center. in addition, I use to write the instruction for it with using picture to make it easier but for the next time I make something ready for them which is the thing that they stick in it.
