    From the year 1993-94, Energy Division of ASTE Council started preliminary survey in the area of Kalmoni Thiapani,
    Nazirakhat, Ganapati (Kamrup district), Champabati, Umsing (Nagaon district) Amlong, Majar, Longpai, Umrasii &
    Umbasso (Karbi Anglong District for Microhydel development. Detailed survey and investigation has been taken up and
    completed at Kalmoni, Nazirakhat, Amlong and Majar small hydel project sites and Reports were prepared.
