It is with great enthusiasm that I request your consideration for a position in the
Clark County School District as an elementary or middle school teacher. I have
earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education, minoring in mathematics, and
passed all of the necessary praxis exams to teach middle school mathematics. With
my many years of working with children, I am particularly interested in utilizing my
skills and knowledge to further the success of the students in our district.
I have completed my student teaching at Edna F. Hinman with excellent references
and am extremely excited to show off my successes in my own classroom. Taking
together my experiences from student teaching, tutoring, and working as a
substitute teacher, I feel confident in my abilities to further student performances. I
have personally witnessed the gratification students feel in achieving their goals
and growing as an individual. I take great pride in contributing to student success
and holding such a beneficial role in our society.
I have always had a passion for education and a love for children. These feelings
have continuously grown as I worked in the classroom throughout the last three
years. I have acquired many attributes throughout these experiences, thanks to
many knowledgeable educators in the Clark County School District. In hiring me,
you will gain a dependable, caring, and highly motivated individual who is prepared
to take on any task. My collective teaching skills, including lesson planning,
managing behavior, adapting content, maintaining professionalism, etc., will be
evident in my daily work.
I look forward to beginning my career in a city that I have called home for more than
