What makes Brutus a Tragic Hero?


He has an obvious scene of suffering.
Once Brutus was defeated by Octavius and his
allies he decided he needed to run. Brutus lost
everything. He lost the respect of Romes citizens and he
lost all his loved ones. He also lost the most important
thing which was Rome itself. In the end he decided to kill
himself.

2nd Reasoning Brutus is a Tragic Hero


Brutus was Noble and Prosperous. He was a highly
respected member of the Republic. He had a say in what
went on in Rome. He had a very reasonable amount of
power and he blew it all.

More reasons Brutus is a Tragic Hero


The Tragic Flaws of Brutus
1. Brutus allows himself to be convinced into joining the
conspiracy
2. Brutus and the conspiracists kill Caesar
3. Brutus does not think Mark Anthony can do much to
harm them
4. He lets Mark Anthony speak at the funeral
5. He ignores Cassiuss warning during the war

The Theme
The theme for Julius Caesar is that Everyone
can stab you in the back. Caesar did not even
expect anything from his friend Brutus. Brutus
turned against Caesar even though they were
good friends. He killed his best friend. Caesar
put trust into Brutus and he took it and used
Caesar.
